The ultimate GT-R costs north of $1.1M USD and is limited to just 50 units.
Nissan has officially unveiled the production version of its super-limited GT-R50 by Italdesign, announcing that the homage-paying supercar will be with clients in 2020.
Limited to just 50 units, the GT-R50 is a unique homologation that takes the marque’s leading 2018 GT-R NISMO and adds an all-new body kit, as well as even more power derived from its 3.8-liter bi-turbo V6 engine. Here, the supercar packs 711 BHP and 575 lb-ft of torque, putting its newfound power to the road via Nissan’s advanced all-wheel-drive system.
The GT-R50 was originally produced as a prototype that celebrated the 50th anniversary of the GT-R and Italdesign’s 50th anniversary in 2018. It came finished in a standout paint job dubbed “Liquid Kinetic Gray” with “Energetic Sigma Gold” inserts, but now, the production model sees all-new shades ranging from black and white to the famous blue shade synonymous with the GT-R’s lineage.
It’s virtually unchanged from the prototype model, sporting a set of 21” carbon fiber-indebted rims and a whole host of aggressive styling cues. Each Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign model will set 50 lucky customers back by approximately $1,165,000 USD. Take a look at the ultra-rare supercar in the gallery above, and for those interested, a handful of build slots still exist.
