Tonight is the third night of my four-week oil painting class. I started with a blank canvas, no inspiration and no experience. By the end of the first night, I had a picture to copy and learned what the heck medium and turpentine are for, and how to clean my brushes.
By the end of the second night, I had what you see above. Looking forward to hopefully finishing tonight, because I really want to spend the fourth night learning how to paint with a palette knife...maybe give a shot at painting this picture of a mountain in Ireland:
