The newly 4/4 One Direction recently gave their first interview since Zayn Malik quit the band and it sounds like they were definitely devastated that he decided to leave, but they promised fans they are "100 percent committed" to 1D.In their new interview with The Sun , the guys admitted they were "gutted" that Zayn moved on from the band, with Liam Payne saying that the past few weeks have been "probably the toughest" in their history together. He added, "But now after a few performances as a four-piece, we feel confident and determined to carry on stronger than ever."
Louis Tomlinson echoed Liam's confidence with some reassuring words for the fans, saying: "All four of us are 100 percent committed to staying in One Direction." Phew.
Niall Horan reinforced how thankful they are for their fans, calling them "amazing" and "so loyal." He added, "All we want to do is make them proud and return their faith in us with a brilliant tour and an amazing new album."
Harry Styles commented on their newest album, explaining, "It's very exciting to be working on our fifth album, it shows how incredible the fans have been. A huge thank you to them for everything they've done for us. All the love to them."
All in all, they have a pretty positive outlook, considering their recent shakeup.
