"Hand in Hand: A BENEFIT FOR HURRICANE RELIEF" (8 P.M., ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, HBO and CMT): Airing live and commercial-free on multiple platforms, and also streaming live on social media, this special features more than 40 celebrities. Helping to raise money for the hurricane-stricken areas will be Anthony Anderson, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Connie Britton, George Clooney, Stephen Colbert, Rober De Niro, Joe Jonas, Jay Leno, Tyler Perry, Adam Sandler and Blake Shelton.

How to prevent telephone fraud

YOUNGSTOWN

Rob Elston, Jewish Community Center security coordinator, police officer and former SWAT team member, will lecture on best practices for preventing telephone scams and frauds, and offer tips for protecting yourself when using the ATM machine, at a free event at noon Friday at the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane.

Cleveland artist's works on display

WARREN

"Rootage," an exhibition of works on paper by Cleveland-based artist Rachel Krislov, is on display at LINK Gallery at Kent State University Trumbull campus. An artist reception will take place Wednesday from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

The gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. The campus is at 4314 Mahoning Ave. NW.

Outdoor family day at Boardman Park

BOARDMAN

Outdoor Family Day will take place Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Boardman Park. Admission is free with a non-perishable food item that will be donated to a local food bank.

The day will include archery, fishing, live animals, science experiments, wagon rides, face painting, a live band and more. The first 100 kids will receive a special gift courtesy of Armstrong.

Boy Scout Troop 60 is sponsoring a camping event the same night. Guests can bring a tent and sleeping bags. Check-in and tent set up begins at 6 p.m. There will be a camp fire, hot dog dinner, s'mores, a movie and more. A continental breakfast will be served in the morning. Fee for the camp-out is $10 per family. Registration forms can be picked up in the park office. For information, call 330-726-8107.
