So states the vision of BCBG Max Azria's latest collection, and no one is more fitting to serve as the face of that collection than Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima.
The 38-year-old brunette bombshell appeared in some 20 photos that were released by BCBG for the Fall/Winter 2019 campaign on Wednesday, in predominantly black, white and red shades that featured fierce looks, dark lips and a confident, powerful mood.

In many of the photos, Adriana is styled to look like one of the women in the iconic music videos for Robert Palmer's songs Addicted To Love and Simply Irresistible in the later '80s: sleek hair pulled back, a dark lip and a fierce, no-nonsense expression around the eyes.
The clothing follows suit, celebrating clean powerful lines, formal lapels, and a spareness of color: the line seems to consist almost exclusively of blacks and reds (with a touch of other colors).
In one of the most striking images, however, Lima has her hair down, wearing a black dress with an asymmetrical bust line that is in fact a daring combination of a lapel and sleeve of a blazer mixed with a sleeveless and strapless minidress.
The beauty looks straight at the camera, with silver hoop earrings and her luscious lips painted dark.
